THE IRS BUSHING SET

Here is a photo of the new Delrin Upper Control Arm Bushing set with the new inner sleeves showing the Hardcoat anti-wear coating.

We have made a slight design change and added a grease groove to the I.D. AND O.D. of the UCA bushings.  They are pre drilled with two grease passages from the outside to the inside.  This is a little insurance in the unlikely event the bushing rotates in the bore of the control arm.  The groove on the I.D. helps distribute the grease all around the inner sleeve.

This photo demonstrates how the concave bushings and convex washers can be used to create either completely flat mounting surfaces as shown with the bushings on the right, or a severe mounting surface on the bushings on the left, and any infinite angle in-between. The convex washers have been slightly shifted on the bushings so you can see how the system works.
