SN-95 Cobra 13" 2 Piece Front Rotors

Full Tilt Boogie Racing now offers a 2 piece lightweight 13" front Cobra rotor set. These rotors are a direct replacement for all Cobras, Mach 1's and Bullitts from 1994 through 2004 using the OEM PBR calipers or the Y2KR Brembo four piston calipers.

Because Mustangs are heavy, particularly on the front end, these would be a great addition to anyone looking to reduce weight. With rotors being unsprung, rotating mass, this weight reduction comes as a huge bonus.

Two versions of these rotors are available.

A lightweight version for street and strip use and a heavy duty version for road racing.

Both versions of these rotors utilize the same Hardcoated aluminum hat and attaching hardware. The only difference in the two versions is the rotor casting that is used to make the finished product.

Both rotor castings are manufactured by Coleman Racing. All rotors are directional vaned for high performance cooling, stress relieved, slotted and clear zinc plated.

Weight savings are as follows.

Brembo one piece rotor weighs in at a hefty 19.1 lbs.

Our lightweight rotor for street and strip use weigh in at 14.7 lbs each. This equates to a weight savings of 4.4 lbs each for a total savings of 8.8 lbs. The air gap on this rotor is .620" and the rotor face thicknesses of .250" each.

The aluminum hats are Hardcoated for aesthetics and also to prevent oxidation.

The rotor rings are zinc plated to help resist corrosion.

These front rotors are recommended only for street and strip duty.

Lightweight Rotor set Part Number FT 8000

The heavy duty road race version weigh in at 16.18 lbs each for a weight savings of 2.92 lbs each and a total weight savings of 5.84 lbs. This rotor has identical air gap, .520" and rotor face thickness of .295" same as the 1 piece Brembo.

  No drilled rotors will be offered.  Non-slotted rotors would be available on a special order basis at a nominal cost savings.

The aluminum hats are Hardcoated for aesthetics and also to prevent oxidation.

The rotor rings are zinc plated to help resist corrosion.

Both versions of rotors are the same price, $595.00 for the pair plus freight.

Replacement rotor rings of either configuration are $163.50 each.

SN-95 Cobra Rear 2 Piece Rotor Replacement

Full Tilt Boogie Racing now offers a 2 piece lightweight 11.66" rear OEM Cobra rotor set, Part # FT 8200.

Because Mustangs are heavy, these would be a great addition to anyone looking to reduce weight. With rotors being unsprung, rotating mass, this weight reduction comes as a huge bonus.

Our lightweight 2 piece rear rotor weighs 9.92 lbs each. This equates to a weight savings of 1.84 lbs each for a total savings of 3.68 lbs.

We added additional thickness to the rotor for a thickness of 19.05 mm compared to a 18.2mm OEM rotor thickness.

This will give you increased longevity due to increased rotor mass.

SN-95 IRS 13" Rear Brake Conversion

Full Tilt Boogie Racing is now offering a 13" IRS rear brake conversion kit.

This kit includes 2 zinc plated caliper relocating brackets with mounting hardware and 2 - 13" assembled 2 piece zinc plated slotted rotors with aluminum Hardcoated hats.

Increase your rear braking leverage by increasing rotor diameter.

Our design retains the OEM rear caliper utilizing a caliper relocating bracket that allows you to retain your emergency brake.

These 13" lightweight 2-piece rotor assemblies are lighter than the 11.66" OEM Cobra rotors.

The rotor rings and the mounting brackets are zinc plated to help resist corrosion.

The aluminum hats are Hardcoated for aesthetics and also to prevent oxidation.
